Dua to be Pleased

Transliteration:- Allahumma radh-dhitni billahi rabban, wa bil-Islami deenan, wa bi-Muhammadin nabiyya.

Dua in Arabic:- اللَّهُمَّ رَضِّنِي بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا

Translation:- O Allah, make me pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (ﷺ) as my Prophet.

Hadith Reference:

This dua is narrated in:

• Sunan At-Tirmidhi (3489) – Graded Hasan (good) by Al-Albani.

• Musnad Ahmad (23119)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever says this (supplication) three times in the morning and evening, it is a right upon Allah to please him on the Day of Judgment.”

Meaning & Benefits:

• Seeking Allah’s pleasure in His Lordship (Rububiyyah).

• Contentment with Islam as one’s way of life.

• Love and acceptance of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as the final Messenger.

• A promise from Allah to grant happiness on Judgment Day** for those who recite it regularly.

Recommended Times to Recite:

• Morning & Evening (as per the Hadith).

• During times of doubt or difficulty to strengthen faith (Iman).

May Allah make us among those pleased with Him as our Lord, Islam as our religion, and Muhammad (ﷺ) as our Prophet. Ameen! 🤲
