Prophet’s Dua for Mercy & Assistance

Transliteration:- Allahumma arhamni wa la tadharni wahidan wa anta Khayrul-warithin

Dua in Arabic:-

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي وَلَا تَذَرْنِي وَحِيدًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ

Translation:- O Allah, have mercy on me and do not leave me alone (without heirs), and You are the Best of inheritors

Key Points:

1. This is a powerful dua from Surah Al-Anbiya (21:89), originally the supplication of Prophet Zakariya (AS)

2. It combines:

   • A plea for Allah’s mercy (arhamni)

   • Request not to be left alone/childless (la tadharni wahidan)

   • Acknowledgement that Allah is the Ultimate Inheritor (Khayrul-warithin)

When to Use:

• When seeking Allah’s mercy

• For those desiring children
